Bib-a-licious, baby!

Yeah, baby! I finally found my bib mojo. At the top of the page is part of an order for a soon-to-be December baby, named Aubree. I love the different textures in the flannel bib and the satin ribbon on the burp cloth. These will be joined soon by a coordinating taggie before they are shipped to the Big Easy! I LOVE the way the embroidery on Aubree's bib came out. It's so elegant looking!

Down below, you see two soft, sweet gingham bibs, both have a broadcloth back and are filled w/ batting. These are for a couple of friends' boys who are teething and slobbering up a storm. I have been playing around with fonts on my machine and I am happy with how they look and feel. They are soft, absorbent and dressy enough for church or a special occasion, yet fun for everyday use.

Ahhh, beloved, twirling, tulle tutus, how I love you! This is the creation that sparked my entire business. I was looking through my daughter's closet and picked her Halloween costume from last year up. She had been a cute, but quite expensive, flower princess. I started thinking, looking around on the net for inspiration and Viola! the tutu was created (with the help of my fabulous friend and neighbor, Michelle). These bring whimsy and fun to any outfit. They are made to fit your little princess's waist and taste. I can personalize them with embellishments and patterns. From an apron like Alice in Wonderland, to a Volunteer cheerleader, or ladybug. If you can dream it, I can make it! Lengths vary from 6" for newborns - 12 months to 12" - 18" for 18 months and up. Tutus start at $12.

Relax Pillows

Nothing says "Relax" to me like the smell of lavender. These small pillows (measuring roughly 4"x8") are a life saver in our house. I suffer from stress headaches and as soon as I feel one coming, I grab a pillow from my freezer, lay down on the couch and place the pillow directly under the nodes on the back of my neck. I cannot even begin to tell you what a difference this makes for me! I am constantly trying to find alternative, natural ways to keep all of us healthy and this is one of my favorite finds! I personally grew the lavender in my own garden and have never used any chemicals or pesticides on any of my plants. This is a sweet smelling, stress reducing, time slowing gift. Fuzzy - wuzzy burp cloths are a fun way to clean up the messiest of messes that your little sweetie can toss at you! Made of the softest flannel and in coordinating colors and patterns to match the classic burp cloths, taggies and tutus, these are easy to toss in the diaper bag and go. Here is an example of something for the Little Monkey in your life. I LOVE the way this turned out! I made this for one of my besties' from college son, Noah. (Shh, he doesn't know it yet!) The taggie has Noah's name monogrammed in the middle on soft, chocolate colored flannel with soft gold satin and polka-dot grosgrain ribbons to coordinate. The burp cloth has the little monkey flannel in the middle of the burp cloth and is bordered by gold satin ribbon.

Here is an example of the Ultimate Princess Package! I made this coordinating tutu, taggie and burp cloth for Little Miss Emmie, who will be arriving in just a few weeks.

Tutus start at $10. They are made from soft tulle and elastic and will not irritate precious, newborn skin. You may choose from numerous colors and embellishments including ribbon and flowers. For the best fit, measure your little princess's waiste at her most narrow part (right above the hip bones).

Taggies are a favorite for my two sweet babies. They always have something nearby to hold on to! Taggies are made from soft flannel and have coordinating ribbons (satin and grosgrain). Taggies are $12 (add $3 for personalization or monogramming).

Burp cloths are the classic Bird's Eye that our mothers used on us. Here, I added a monogram and personalization, plus a ribbon from the matching taggie. Who wouldn't be proud to carry this special piece around? Burp cloths are $5 each.
